Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
The Harry Potter films and the Wizarding World has been conceived and built with so much rich detail you can almost believe it was real...
As the films progressed, they got darker and darker in theme until the final 2 parter, the Deathly Hallows.
The films feature a symbol, consisting of a triangle, circle and a line, which represents an Invisibility cloak, Resurrection stone and the Elder wand.
I wanted my design to focus on this but was also keen to stretch my illustration muscles and include an image of the chosen one himself!
The Shining
Based on a Stephen King novel, the film by Stanley Kubrick, released in 1980, is probably one of most loved horror films and features many iconic scenes.
The most memorable are the 2 little twin girls, "Come play with us Danny, forever and ever and ever..." and the hall way carpet with its unique design.
I decided to bring these 2 elements together in my poster design.
